Journal Metrics Update

Clarivate Analytics has recently released the 2021 Journal Citation report, and we are pleased to report that the 2021 IF for Journal of Ovarian Research is now 5.506 - a very healthy increase from last year's IF of 4.234.

JOVR remains in the first quartile for the Reproductive Biology category, it is now placed 5th out of 31 journals (previously 6th out of 30 journals). The 5 Year Impact Factor has increased from 3.974 (last year) to 5.069, which is also positive news.

The number of full-text downloads in 2021 exceeded 800,000, a large increase over the 511,811 downloads in 2020 and JOVR received almost 250 mentions on Social Media in 2021, again an increase over the previous year.

JOVR has a SCImago journal rank of 1.019 and remains in Q1 for all Obstetrics and Gynecology journals and in Q2 for Oncology journals. The journal also has a CiteScore of 6.3 and Source Normalized Impact per Paper (SNIP) of 1.450 in 2021.

We'd like to thank our Associate Editors for their hard work in processing and handling manuscripts and for providing valuable feedback, our Editorial Board members and reviewers for reviewing manuscripts, and to our authors for submitting high-quality manuscripts to the journal. Without these efforts and contributions to Journal of Ovarian Research, such an improvement in Impact Factor and journal ranks would not be possible.
