Rapa inhibited CY-induced activation of PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway proteins in the ovary. Protein analysis on ovaries from 8-week-old mice removed 24 h after CY treatment (150 mg/kg) or PBS treatment with or without co-administration of Rapa. Western blots of phosphorylated and total Akt, phosphorylated and total mTOR, phosphorylated and total rps6, as well as the calculated fold change for each of the proteins. Experiments were repeated three times with similar results (two to four ovaries were pooled per result; total number of animals = 48, with 8 animals in each treatment group and time point) (*P < 0.05 for the comparison on the same follicle type between 75*4 group and other groups)
