Groups of 15 OLCs or oocytes per sample were tested from at least 3 biological replicates. Treatment with RA increased the expression of Marf1 in OLCs (a). No significant difference was observed between oocyte and OLC groups for Sycp3 (c). There was a significantly higher level of Oct4 mRNA when comparing oocytes and RA treated OLCs to untreated OLC groups (b).
