RT-PCR (B) and western blot (C) analyses showed that Gpsm1-targeting siRNA-3 provided optimal depletion of GPSM1 in GCs compared to the siRNA-negative control (NC-siRNA) and blank control (**P < 0.01). D. Gpsm1-knockdown decreased the proliferation rate of GCs significantly 48 h, 72 h, 96 h, and 120 h after transfection with siRNA. GCs transfected with NC-siRNA or Gpsm1-siRNA were subjected to CCK8 analysis (**P < 0.01). E and F. Gpsm1-knockdown increased the apoptosis rate of GCs.
