Neurotrophin/Trk signalling is regulated via connections among a variety of intracellular signalling cascades, including the MAPK pathway, PI-3 kinase pathway, and PLC pathway, transmitting positive signals that enhance survival and growth. On the other hand, p75 transmits both positive and negative signals. B BDNF may be synthesized in ectopic endometrium, which can promote the growth of nerve fibres and endometrial cells
