Validation of apoptosis genes in OvCa cells. mRNA expression levels of apoptotic genes were quantified by RT-PCR upon treatment and compared to controls in [A] OVCAR3 and [B] CAOV3 cells. The expression levels of caspase-3, PARP, pro-apoptotic genes (BAK, BID, and BAX), and anti-apoptotic genes (BCL-2, MCL-1, and BCL-XL) are represented by fold change relative to the control. Data were normalized to the levels of the housekeeping gene 18 S.
