A 42-year-old female patient with bilaterally ovarian metastases from colorectal adenocarcinoma. The locular signal intensity is uniform on axial T2-weighted images (A). There is varying size between the cystic loculations on axial contrast-enhanced T1-weighted images (B). The signal and size diversity ratio are 1.38 and 2.38, respectively. There are numerous microcapsules with a solid portion invasion (C, hematoxylin and eosin stain × 100 magnification). The epithelial cells show strong immunoreactivity for cytokeratin 20 (D, × 100 magnification)
